Curriculum vitae
I studied and completed my “Referendariat” (practical training) in Berlin and passed the bar examination (“Zweites Staatsexamen”) in 1996. During my studies I placed my emphasis on International Private Law which today is useful in my daily work in the field of International Family Law. After finishing my university studies and before commencing my practical training (“Referendariat”) I worked for the “Treuhandtochtergesellschaft” EXHO GmbH in the field of Restitution Law.
I spent part of my practical training (“Referendariat”) in Luxembourg where I was employed in the legal service of the European Parliament.
In 1996, I was admitted to the bar and have been practising as lawyer in my own practice. My specialisation is Family-, Labour-, and Immigration Law. I speak English, French and Italian fluently. My knowledge of Spanish is good. Therefore I can talk to my clients in the languages mentioned above.
